Using this Program, solve for Voltage, Current and Resistance of Direct Current Circuits.

[Error handling Code updated -21-01-2010]

Formula Solver for Ohm's Law

states the relationship between Voltage, Current and Resistance. In a DC Circuit, current is directly proportional to to voltage and inversely proportional to resistance.

The Basic Theory

V = I x R

Voltage = Current x Resistance

The ratio of Potential Difference (V) between any two points of a electrical conductor, to the Current (I) flowing between those two points, is constant when the temperature of the conductor does not vary.

This is a very important and useful theory in Secondary School Physics syllabus for all students.
